Be honest, how often do you clean the tops of your wall units?

When one of the OH's son comes to visit - he's over 6' 4"
Not a problem - they go right up to the ceiling - thank goodness

Trying to get enough courage to get on a ladder tomorrow and look at mine! Hate to think what they will look like.
Why would you want to do that? I once saw an attachment for one of those hoover things that goes under cupboards and fridges etc. Yeah, right. Like thats gonna happen.
lankeela is so right cm - live in blissful ignorance. When the dirt and dust get too much the weight of it will bring the cupboard down to a more reasonable level for you to inspect - so no need to disturb the step ladder :-)
Have had a new kitchen put in about 6 months ago and i (very sadly!!) do it every other weekend now. Partly a case of wanting to keep my lovely new black and stainless steel kitchen lovely but mainly because i was so embarrassed by the state of the old ones when they came down!! so embarrassed i cleaned them before they were taken away to the dump!!
I only have bottom units :-)
LOL until you asked that I realised that I had never cleaned the tops. There is about 6 inches between tops and ceiling and kitchen has been in for about 6 months. Guess what I just did? Took me over an hour!!!!
