in the movie thirteen, it says that nikki reid (who plays evie in the film) is also the writer. does this mean that she went through all of the issues in the film and it is kind of like her autobiography?

the movie was also written by catherine hardwicke (the other girl :P) and yes, it is loosely based on events in nikki reid's life, so some of it would apply to her to some degree

Catherine Hardwicke isn't the other girl in Thirteen; Evan Rachel Wood is the other girl.  Catherine Hardwicke is the director of the film.
