Thanks quinnie for coming for coming to my rescue again,maybe i'm being dim but what does gabbard mean ?, my dictionary does not tell me.
Have got another Alzheimer's Quiz this time on cryptic sweets, have done several but still need quite a few, so will be looking for help but as its not due in until 24th April better not put them on yet. Best Wishes birdie.

Thanks again quinnie, I like the Hansom & the Punt sounds good, I had considerd Shop, but was doudtful.
According to one of my dictionaries gabbart also gabbard (Scottish). A flat-bottomed barge used to load and unload cargo offshore or to transport goods on inland waterways. I didn't know till I looked it up! Glad to help you.
