its called Shoes (you would never have guessed) and I think it was by Jesse James.I used to have it on a Northern Soul compilation years ago.

Hmm, not sure about that TEAK36 - although it is true that a band named Jesse James released a track named Shoes, it was on their 2002 EP of the same name, and on their album Punk Soul Brithers. Although I've never heard it, I don't think that it is this track. However, I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

I'd like to hear it again to try have a nother guess, but the link won't work.
