please help
i got my house repo last year i owed 62,500 on the morgage when the house sold i got told it was sold for only 75,000 the morgage company took 72,000 back the lawyer took the rest and still want more then i found out from the land registry and every other property serch site that the house sold for 110,000 but the lawyer told me it was only 75,000 how will i find out the truth as there is a descrepance of 35,000 whitch i would have got thanks

I would advise you to go to the Citizens Advice Bureau for advice, with your paperwork and a printout of the selling price from the Land Registry (although this may be the price received form a subsequent sale after your distressed/forced sale went through). Be prepared to engage another solicitor should you have been shortchanged originally.
