Might be in the wrong Topic Heading but any TA members out there ?

Just wanted to know if you enjoy life in the TA am thinking of joining , is it a good move ?

I was an active member of the TA and I loved it the only reason I left was because i have to work shifts with my 'normal' job. I would recommend it although the initial training course was really hard I had to go to grantham to train. It was a good experience but you have to think seriously about whether you would be prepared to go to Iraq or Afghanistan? as you will be going if you decide to join. Once you have done all your training which could take up to two years they will send you and I can't see this conflict ending anytime soon.
