Is that good or bad for England? Good for England in that he's too much of a distraction without doing that much these days or bad for England in that he is still a useful player for the national team.
Personally I reckon that he can still deliver key crosses and so it would be better if he were available than not.
I'm more concerned about
1. Lack of a top class keeper
2. Lack of a decent right back
3. Lack of a fit/decent/available left back
4. Our captain's fitness
5. Gerrard's loss of form
yes but I posted the OP last evening when the Beckham story was freshly in the news which is why it was about him rather than the England squad as a whole
