i am diy of sort mechanic who have checked all the obvious issues from fuel to electrics, and seeking a expert mechanics suggesion of my problem does this car uses a keycoded key ? my key maybe damaged..

Yes, your car does have a transponder key (coded). if it is faulty you will not get it to start and a new key will need to be sorted, have a look in the yellow pages under lock smiths for a mobile to come sort it for you, failing this a vauxhall dealer will be needed.
