It's easy to forget what a lovely coastline we have up here, it must have been the same for centuries, no promenades just rolling sand dunes and a rugged coast line dotted here and there with a castle and the sand a lovely soft gold colour, It is a shame we have the wrath of the mighty North Sea to remind us how it isn't warm up there, but if it was, it would spoil it's beauty.

Yep Jan I think that's where I went......called in a few years ago when I was on my way to assist referee at the English Championships in Brighton.

Yep, the mist has come in here now boxtops. I'm only 100 yards from the seafront and it's very eerie.

Weird, isn't it? I can imagine QC's lurking sailors... and it's all wispy and spooky, reminds you of a Barbara Erskine novel. This is the first sea fret we've had this year, the land must be warming up!
