There are aspects of this story that dont add up. There are no straight answers as to whether a ransom was paid or not and by whom. Nothing denied or confirmed. And why did the father return to UK when he was advised not to. Would you leave a country when your child was missing there?

Thank God the child is safe. I too have had some reservations about what went on here and a bit relieved to see I'm not alone. Time will tell.
