The ONI has made some interesting changes to the list of items monitored to compile the RPI and the CPI.

Bars of soap and canned drinks have been dropped (are we really consuming less of those?).

Fishfingers are IN for the first time EVER (do we eat more fishfingers now than 20 years ago???)

Lip gloss is in, lipstick is out.

Hair straighteners are in, hairdryers are out.

What would YOU include in the list of "MUST BUY" items if you were compiling the RPI ?

Oh God, in todays paper, two 16 yr olds who are named, say they had to get into bed with Take That's Mark Owen as they felt obliged to please him !

.......and anyway..... I buy loads of bars of soap - get through a couple a week. Am I maintaining the soap bar industry all by myself?

Raisins
Chicken dippers
