Why has she no romance in her soul ?

I get a lift home from the gym every week with a great lady and Iv'e told her I think she's great . I could spend hours talking with her if we could ever get the chance. I give her presents and make up rhymes and set up messages in Italian for her to interpret.......usually saying how pretty she is !
Problem is she's married. But the worst thing is all she talks about is work or domesticy things. Iv'e offererd to take her to Paris, out to dinner, out to lunch, but its no good ,nothing seems to inspire any romantic spark in her. Where am I going wrong ?

You said she's married, is she living with her husband? Why do you want to go after someone else's wife? Perhaps she purposely speaks about work and such to distract you from flirting with her. Have you thought you might be embarrassing her?

Mate, you're onto a losing streak. Give it up before 1 of 3 things happen
1) She gets fed up of you acting like a lovestruck schoolchild and tells you "No more lifts" or changes the time she goes to the gym
2) Her husband finds out about this, and beats seven shades of broccoli out of you
3) She force feeds you your italian love notes, before shooting you in the face and leaving your corpse by the roadside.

Admittidly, 3 isn't very likely, but both 1 and 2 are. So just cool it and go find someone who is interested

Work and domesticity are safe topics for her to talk about, it sounds like you could interpret anything else as encouragement. What I can't understand is why she's still giving you a lift home, I'm afraid that if your advances are unwanted I would have told you so quite a long time ago. She's married, her husband probably thinks she's great too - leave it out and go find someone who's unattached, who would appreciate your generosity!
