For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Make a marked measuring stick (piece of timber with pecil or other mark for every tile width (allow for one gap each mark. Do the same on the other side of the stick for the height (if not the same). You can use this to plan your set-up and find the right locations for any pattern tiles etc.
If you're going to have no cut tiles then the starting point is to create two batons (one vertical and one horizontal) tack to surface being tiled meeting at the left hand bottom corner of your design.
If you will be cutting tiles then tack your batons at the lowest full row and column. Complete the field tiles, using spacers or card between the tiles, until you have completed the placing of whole tiles. Remove the batons and cut tiles to fit the spaces left.
Grout and wipe clean.
