No,it's a legalised(?) form of child abuse.
Strange that you cannot get a piercing till you are 16(?) without parental consent,and yet parents can inflict this on their very oung children.

Absolutely not acceptable at all, if the child wishes to have pierced ears, then they can have when they are old enough to make that choice!............after all, it's their body!!.............

Well it must be accepted by most if (example - Claries Accessories) do the piercings.

Can't see why/how it concerns anyone except the Parents

My view is that it shouldn't be done without the consent of the person.

The baby cannot give its consent, so it is assault.
