Originally 'Sport' was just another category on AB. Then things were changed, so that clicking on the 'Sport' link took you to a separate site (which is the only place where avatars ever worked). Nowadays 'Sport' is back within the main part of AB but the separate site still exists:

km60, i kinda see what you mean. AB is a bit like a sunday afternoon lunch accompanied by jazz. SAB is like a grimey sat night/sunday morning! but variety is the spice after all.
