not sure about that chelle. femimine oestrogen, eostre is to do with fertility, springtime, easter. I reckon that is true.
I'm aware of the meanings askyourgran, but as I said I'm quoting the Oxford English Dictionary- but they could be wrong!?
I think the fact that one starts 'eo' and the other 'oe' shows that they don't come from the same root.
