Can I transfer part of my ISA to a new provider?

I am getting a poor return with my current provider but would like to keep just a nominal amount with them. Is this possible? Many thanks.

Make it clear that you are going to transfer some of the money anyway (you have a right to do this) - and that you will transfer all of it unless they can permit a smaller retention.
