On what speed doe's that little flap thing on the boot go out? And that flap really necessary or is it just aesthetics?

I didn't realise it did go up automatically.  I thought it was just a manual engine vent that you could pull up a bit when it's really hot.  I don't think it's like that on the latest shape 911.

Only the 911 Turbo, GT3, and GT2 have a spoiler as standard.

Increases downforce. Not aesthetic

That sounds like the old 911, but I think you can manually adjust it too 'cos I've seen some parked up with it in the raised position.  Looks crap if you ask me, you want a proper spoiler! :)
