Is Hertfordshire considered to be part of London?
Having a discussion and need proof. A friend says Potters Bar and Hertfordshire in it's entirety is part of London. I say otherwise - what is the real answer?

Only one county (Middlesex) has been entirely subsumed into London. Bits of other counties have disappeared as well (e.g. Romford is now in the London Borough of Havering, rather than in Essex). Hertfordshir e has been largely unaffected by the extension of London's boundaries.
