upper lip waxing

I had my upper lip waxed today and shortly after I left the salon, the pain set in and the skin feels burned although it doesn't look red. I have been miserable since I came home. I have applied ice and Neosporin. Is there anything else I can do? This has never happened before and I don't know if it is a sudden allergic reaction. I also had my brows done but no problem with those.

Thank you.

This happened to me with my eyebrows, i ended up with a scab under one!  it can be caused by over sensitive skin or the wax being too hot
