delivery and related charges for new cars.

Why don't they give the correct price for a new car on line. Is this famous "delivery and related charges not included " another excuse for a garage to make up their own price. What do you think? i would like to hear any experiences of this charge being added to a new car and does it vary between garages.

its what the manufacture charges the dealership & yes it varies, but the real annoying bit is they wont let you collect to save the charges !!

well I'd imagine that they think if you are contemplating buying a new car you are raving mental and as such any of the preiphery are largely irrelevant.
