to induce or not

I have had problems with blood pressuer and swelling. I was due on the fifth of this month. the baby is now over 9 lb and the doctor wants to induce. I have a choice between sunday and the 16 for inducment. what should i do?

the blod pressure problem isnt good, also i would imagine you are feeling uncomfy now, so i would go for the earlier.

big difference in dates though, my mum was given the 30th of nov or 1st dec!

go for the earliest. i was induced with my first child and it isnt as bad as you think though it is quick! Dont mess about, honestly, you have to do the right thing for you and your baby, and high blood pressure and swelling isnt good as you have a high chance of damage to both of you. on saying this the doctors know best but i would definately take the earliest date. from experience i know i would. good luck to all of you. let us know how it goes xx
