i have use of a six man tent and want a cheap holiday july/aug time

I'm afriad in that part of the country and at that time of year you aren't going to find anywhere cheap.

If you scout around, you might be able to find places cheaper, however on most campsites you're really paying for the facilities they have (showers, toilets, laundrettes, etc) and none are cheap.

I disagree ,I took a tent down near Bude ,found a nice place near Tamar Lakes ,pitched up and cost next to nothing,and that was in July. If you want to book do some hunting around online.
