Hi guys (and girls obviously!)

I bought a new PC a couple of weeks ago and because I have my iPod mapped to my old PC, I need to know how I can use it on my new PC because swapping my monitor/keyboard/mouse over everytime I need to update/put new songs on my iPod, is pretty frustrating.

Thanks...

you can choose to update the ipod manually meaning when you plug you ipod in, it wont remove all the songs that arent on your new pc.

just install the ipod and itunes software, then i think if you go into file...prefrences you can change to manual update.

easist solution:

download ephpod:
www.ephpod.com

- use that to copy all the songs on your iPod onto your new computer (copy it to a folder on the desktop)
- import your songs from that folder into iTunes
- goto advanced -> consolidate library. this'll put all the songs into your "my music" folder.
- delete the folder off your desktop
- sync ipod with new computer, so its set to use that one
