Family Anti virus softwear

Hi guys.. hope you can advise.. im not a techie, so bear with me!

Its time to re install new anti virus softwear on the family home computers and wondered which you think is the best one to go for?? At the moment i run Norton, which is OK but i know there are so many out there and reading the Norton webiste i notice that you are only able to intall the softwear on upto 3 computers.. Which in these days of kids laptops isnt enough.. We have 2 base comps and 2 laptops, so is there any ones out there that are any good but also cover upto 4 pc`s??

Use a free one, there are a number of good ones around that you can install on as many machines as you want. I personally use avast! http://www.avast.com/en-gb/index#tab2

p.s. it's spelt software - softwear would be moccasins or something like that

Note there is more to PC security than anti virus.

Dont take off a whole Interent Security package and replace it with JUST anti virus.
