Film Title Help Please

There is a film ( I think got a nomination for best foreign film last year at the oscars??) about the holocaust where during & after being captured the Father tells his son it's a game or competition, and makes light of their experience for the sake of his son. I want to add it to my dvd rental list and thought it was called the game, but it isn't, does anyone know the title I've fancied watching it for ages. (Is it a sad end though?)

I remeber seeing this clip on TV, it was very moving, I think it was called  Duga mracna noc (2004) and starred Dr Kovac off ER! Try www.imdb.com for more info.

Thanks for answering this question as i have always wanted to know what this film is called too! i have seen lots of clips of it and it looked very sad. i seem to remember a part where a child sees his father for the last time and winks at him through a keyhole or something. very sad...
