Wouldn't you just like to hear a human voice when you make a telephone call! Push buttons, Mumbai calling! Selling you products! Only Human contact is with the local Library when you ring to renew books etc!

yes i would as when i get calls from india asking me to pay my credit card bill ? not a clue what they are saying lol
have you tried phoning sky tv its hilarious
I tried phoning BT for Mum (Delhi, not Mumbai - I asked !). Couldn't understand a word even after asking twice to repeat slowly.
Tried to phone the local bank, no phone number available (they don't give it out I was told) only the call centre, goodness knows where. She asked for the account number and personal details (!) before she would connect, which I refused. Eureka! it worked and I got through.
I once tried to visit an insurance company to settle a small matter (of minutes).
I was left standing on the doorstep - I could see someone talking to me over the intercom telling me to send a letter as they don't do direct business with customers.
Well, they don't do it with this one anymore!!
No, Heard about the Indian gent who goes for a job interview in the UK, he is told to use the words pink green and yellow. So he tells the interviewer "The telephone goes green green green and I pink it up and say Yellow Yellow".. and he got the job, Now Raj is working in a call-centre near you.

He rings our house nearly every day
So true ayg (:-))
