What single changed your world?

Mine would have to be Uptown Girl by Billy Joel- it's the first one I remember buying, and I can't pinpoint exactly how it changed my world, but it has definitely had a very powerful effect on me. When I hear it nowadays, I well up.

Hurt, by Nine Inch Nails, for reasons too long and personal to divulge here. I saw them live recently, and sobbed my eyes out when he sang this - just him, and keyboard, and the whole crowd singing along. It's not often that music gives me goosebumps, but to hear that live for the first time left me tingling. The Johnny Cash version does the same, but more because his version is so poignant, and the video is so moving - he gives the song a whole new meaning.

The only girl I have ever loved had a very soft spot for the song "Beyond the Sea" by Bobby Darin. I can't listen to the song without a tear in my eye even though she left me three years ago!!!
