I predict bore-fest - the only entertainment will be trying to see which one of them can best avoid talking about any actual policies while trying to finger point the others and say "what ever it is we do it'll definately be better than what he wants to do - whatever that is!!"
I'd rather watch Emmerdale.
Gideon Eton (now you see him, now you dont) Osborne -vs- Alisistair 2nd home swap (x4) Darling should be an enthralling contest of who will hide the most of what they intend to do to us after after we have voted in the forthcoming election.

Vinny Bean Cable maybe the only one to tell us some of whats in store for us after the election
Well having just watched it the notable thing was that although the audience were supposedly forbidden to applaud they did so on 3 or 4 occasions each time it was for Vince Cable.

Most notably when Osborne was making a play of supporting those worse off when he pointed out the Tory priority of tax cuts to double millionaires or what Osbourne prefers to call the Death tax.

Fair enough if I was proposing a millionaire tax cut I'd want a snappier name for it too!
It was Vinny what won it - shame he wont get the job - assuming an unhung parliament that is

What did you think Gromit ? Glad your back.

Vince Cable predictably was the best. Some may say that is because the Liberals are unlikely to get into power so he can promise the earth and no he will not have to deliver, but the opposite was true, he appeared more truthful, and it was the others who were in fantasyland.

I personally thought Darling came over as shifty, and Osborne, though he did not do as badly as I thought he would, was third.

The Newspapers as you would expect now that an election is near marked it differently. The Torygraph had Osborne winning (what planet are they on?).
Wouldnt worry too much about the torygraph and other biased media - the audience applause and reaction pointed to Vinny as the clear winner in the TV debate

I believe the studio audience reaction accurately reflects how the general public who viewed the programme assessed it - and this has been amply confirmed on Victoria Derbyshire Radio 5 Phone In this morning.

I agree Darling did appear shifty - but maybe it was the eyebrows and the memory of his shifting policies and shifting 2nd home designations in the expenses scandal.

Darling did better in debate than I expected, as did Osborne.

On Osborne I remain unconvinced by his apparent conversion to fairer society for all position - largely because of his parties own constantly shifting policies, his and his shadow cabinets privileged Eton and Bullingdon soaked backgrounds, and his own involvement as a multi-millionaire in 2nd home flipping - maybe still owing the tax payer as much as £55,000.

Anyway glad the real Gromits back - hes so much better than the other one !
Grrrr - I'll bite your leg.
Gromit, I hope your answers are all back. Let me know.

Er, No. They are all still gone, and my questions from yesterday and today have gonehave disappeared, including the BNP one?

Also I have tried to use the search because I was trying to find a old answer and it finds next to nothing.
