Why is a woman more likely to conceive in adulterous sex?

Why is a woman more likely to conceive in adulterous sex? Is it because she and her affair man are more 'excited' as the act is more risky, etc...? Is there a biological explanation for this fact?

Oh I read something about this but can't remember all the details so sorry if its vague. Its something about the competitive nature of the sperm or something and unfamiliar sperm needing to be the stronger presence and so fight harder.

Just read that back and its the most vague thing I've ever heard - sorry! Basically, there is a biological reason but I can't remember the details! Lissy x

Not that i'm an expert mind, but I wouldn't at all be comfy going to bed with a strange bloke, therefore I'd find it difficult to get excited. I'm much more relaxed with Mr Boo who knows all about my wobbly bits and isn't put off....lol
