Our lollipop man for the wee kids around here is a gem, he waves to every car and bus that passes him, he knows every child by their name and always has a smile and a kind word for them, same with the parents and grandparents, so of the older kids at the local Comp has set up a" Isn't Jim mint" page on FB and it has had a couple of thousand hits already, I bet he would wave at the planes if they could see him..
what a lovely man and such a gentleman too.

My fathers youngest sister and her husband were two of the nicest people you could meet even though they had a tough life with ill health - a mentally handicapped daughter - life threw a lot at them and they both died far too early - but we could all learn a lot from their wonderful sense of humour in the face of adversity - only the good die young !

Yes bobbi, a local alcoholic who is the salt of the earth with a heart of gold and is very popular, But it looks like he hasn't got long left, Mores the pity as people like him wouldv'e had so much to offer had alcoholicism not taken over his life.
