Went to Asda today, 20 minutes to do the shopping and 2 hours 10 minutes to get out of the carpark. When I got home I rang Asda who blamed the council. Brand new superstore, but the carpark is chaos. At the rate they are going they will lose all their customers. Grrrrrr Rant over.

Asda have just made an elbow of their Car-Park in Benton,Newcastle as well, hopeless to get out of.!!
For elbow,read Ar$e.!!
The new Sainsbury's car park at Bishops Stortford had similar problems - total gridlock. The one exit turned out a few metres from a set of traffic lights, and only a couple of cars could get out each light change, at busy periods.

They had to demolish a wall and make another exit.

It was so bad Asda called the police to try and sort it out. The police opened up the goods entrance to allow cars to leave. Then it was chaos on the roads as well. I will never go there again.
I bet you will though.
You haven't been to Brent Cross then.

One way in and one way out, total chaos. If there was a fire god help us all.

I have been to Brent Cross funnygirl, but a long time ago. I lived in Colindale and went there quite regular.
Then you know what I'm on about.

At times like christmas and easter the traffic jams are horrendous.
