Sat Nav Features
4 Answers
Does anyone out there know of a Sat Nav that has the following features:-
- "Where Am I?" function - ie, you are lost or maybe broken down and want to tell someone where you are - name of road and town. A question mark (or similar) to press to get the appropriate response.
- Facility to enter an address and then assign it a name, eg "Aunt Pauline".
- Diversion - so that, should for eg, the M25 be closed, you can tell the Sat Nav and it will take you on a different route instead of keep trying to direct you back to the M25.
- "Store this location" with a description (ie, when you come across a pretty place on holiday for example but you don't have time to stop). So you could store the location as "village near Pete's Farm".
- Quickest/shortest route (I'm sure most Sat Navs must have this now but mine is ancient!).
- Facility to upgrade maps from the internet (ditto above).
If anyone knows of a Sat Nav that has all of these features, please let me know!
Thank you.
