Yup im home, have been for a few hours.

Would you believe he's still with us? Some of his fur looks to have grown back too! Not quite sure what ot make of it...Easter miracle perhaps?

Yeah, he chowed down on bread whilst I was away. Only a bit left earlier. Carrots on the boil for him now as we speak.

I fully expected him to be belly up when i got home, but nope!

When I was young (5) I had a little hamster Joey who was getting on for three. On request of my teacher, I took him to school so that he could mate with the class hamster. The class hamster chased him round the cage all day - he wasn't at all interested in mating, and I was in tears at the end of the day because of Joey's ordeal. He died a few days later and my poor Mum felt so guilty at letting me take him. He was a poor old man and just couldn't cope with a nubile young hamster wench.
