Think that sounds gross... you obviously haven't tried Paella de bacalao y coliflor...

(Cod and cauliflower).
..barf..
It doesn't look very appetising at all. It's how it tastes that counts isn't it? They say "you eat with your eyes": I'd need to be blindfolded to eat that. However as long as you liked it what do our opinions count? ;-)

Indeed, Toni. And having pleased the two fussiest and most demaning people I know, I'm thrilled to report that there was no paella left at the end of the meal. Still, maybe a 12 inch Meat Feast and a couple of tinnies would be more up your street ;-)

When we were last on Menorca we had black paella, the squid? ink coloured it black. It looked like the burnt bottom of the pan but the taste was delicious!

I like paella, even the cod and cauliflower sounds okay to me :o)

(but maybe not at this time of day!)

The photo didn't do it justice, Sara. It was very tasty and crammed with diced salmon fillet and juicy jumbo prawns. I couldn't put any other seafood in it as my mother doesn't like mussels or anything like that.

Carabint... you are a lovely guy and all the women on CB love you to bits. xx

Ah Boxtops... you mean the arroz ***. If you look for "paella en su tinta" on the menu, you'll find it. I've tried it once at a restaurant by Leroy Merlin in Valencia. It was very tasty.

Omg... they obviously don't like the Spanish word for black. And anagram of enrog.
