Gatwick BA Terraces lounge (Club Europe)
3 Answers
Hi everyone,
We have used the BA Club Europe Lounge at Heathrow T5, which was a Galleries lounge. The choice of food and drink was phenomenal. Now, this holiday we are leaving from Gatwick, which is a Terraces lounge, and the blurb on the BA website suggests the food and drink facilities are a little more limited. Has anyone used the Gatwick lounge recently to give me some info on the facilities there please? We are particularly interested as it is an early morning flight and the airport hotels want £10-£15 for breakfast - we are trying to decide whether to give this a miss and fill up at the airport instead, for free. Any thoughts or info please?
Thanks,
bushy

I cant help answer your question but I wonder if you could tell me if its possible to access either BA lounge without travelling on BA by paying for its use? If so how much? It could be worth, as you say, taking advantage of the food there without paying extra for breakfast at, say, Frankie and Bennies, which would be overpriced.

BA only allows you to use their lounges if you have a Club Europe or higher ranked ticket or a Gold or Platinum Executive Club membership. There is no way to buy entry to the lounged unfortunately. However there are usually other lounges at airports that do allow you to buy entry - you would need to look at the website for the airport you are using to see what lounges are available to buy entry.
