Hi all,
My son began acting a bit differently yesterday; he was very grumpy. He then slept right through until 6.30am in his own bed which he has never done. Then when I brought him into our bed this morning he remained quite still for some time (very out of character). Suddenly he threw up and later about another 5 times within the space of about 4 hours. He has been very lethargic. At the time of his sickness he'd had nothing to eat or drink. We rang the NHS direct and they just told us to observe him and keep up fluid levels. He seems a bit better now; he had some bread and butter about 2 hours ago and we've been giving him regular drinks and so far he hasn't been sick for about 2.5 hours. It's very strange, any ideas what it could be? There is as yet no diarrhea and his sickness wasn't projectile

Perhaps it's a stomach bug.
Yes, I think there is something going round, my 3 year old grandson was sick on Saturday and very lethargic for a couple of days not like him at all but he seems to be ok now. Just keep giving him plenty to drink and keep him warm and I'm sure he will be back to his normal self in a day or two.
I agree with the above 2 posters.

Thanks. He has regained some of his energy now and is continuing to keep food and drink down.
Hi MB,
I hope hes feeling better today.
I often find that when Baby CRX is sick, it takes a couple of days for the diarrhea to follow it.
If hes hungry give him bland foods, toast or arrowroot biscuits and water. Milk can upset stomachs more so avoid if you can.
I hope hes ok soon
