I have loaded a few bits of video from my camera onto my laptop. I wanted to send them to a friend but even when I try to send one, a message pops up to say that it can't be sent as there isn't enough memory.
Someone has said that I need to make it into a zip or zipped file? Is this right and if so, how do I do it?
Thanks.

That ain't gonna work
Why not upload to Youtube (you can make it private rather than public). Then just send your friend a link.

mmmm - haven't done that before and not sure I could!! Thanks rojash.
Video files can be too large to send via E-mail as they often get "timed out".
Try sending it by
http://www.upload.sc/
This site will take files of up to 100.MB and is FREE to use.
Also, to ZIP a file, you will need to use a suitable program, like Winzip. Google for WINZIP.
To use a Zipped file you will need to Un-zip it back to the original type.
.EXE files can often be refused by e-mails as they can be mistaken for a virus so ZIP an .EXE file and it will be accepted OK.
Generally E-mails support 10 MB size of attachment. Try to send attachment below 10 MB.
