Sending faxes without a telephone connection
I've just realized that my new computer doesn't have a telephone socket.
Does anyone know if there's anyway of sending faxes without setting up a monthly contract. I only send a couple per month, if that, but they're usually important and necessary.

It is easy to fit, but does require opening the case, and can be daunting for someone who's never done it before.
A better way (especially if it's a laptop) might be to buy an all in one (printer, scanner, fax) - that way you don't have to open the PC, and could also fax from paper as well.

People still fax.
There are loads of "fax-without-a-fax-machine" options these days. I use this: http://home.efax.com/yac-fax/yac-fax-faqs.html
