I actually find it tastes a bit bitter...but I can't use artificial sweeteners either because they taste so awful to me.
Dh and I have recently cut back on salt by....cutting back on salt! I just stopped using it when I cook and only adding it at the table AFTER tasting the food. Its worked for us.
Rummaged through the cupboard and found some Saxa So-Low 50% less sodium salt.
The baulk of this is potassium Chloride, overall 19% sodium. Less than half that of regular salt.
