pre-twilight zone programme

I remember as a kid watching a series of programmes which were similar to the twilight zone theme (was it twilight zone or not?). One episode shows a man who goes into a phone box to use the phone. He gets stuck in the box and can't get out. Eventually a truck comes along and they take him (still in phone box) away to be 'removed', but basically he's stored alongside thousands of other phoneboxes, some with dead people in, some still alive, some contain skeletons (basically some alien conspiracy) - any ideas?
