do you think earplanes (the earplugs that slow down ear pressure) A decongestant ( sudafed) and sucking and chewing on sweets will be a good combination to stop my ears from popping on a aeroplane
A while ago I was flying really regularly and after a short while I didn't even bother to stop my ears popping. I just got on with reading my book.
If I did all the "blow my nose" or "suck on a sweet" thing then all that I achieved was that I could hear much better. I could hear the loud noise of the engine much better and it distracted me from napping and reading!
Unless it's uncomfortable for you (which it may well be given the lengths you seem to want to go to) I'd maybe try to learn to ignore it.
Earplanes are quite good for stopping the popping but they don't help with temporary deafness. Some people claim that eating sweets helps, but that's probably just an excuse. Sudafed won't help unless you shove them in your ears.
