Hello, newbie here - my first question is this, do people have time for 'proper' hobbies these days?

I don't just mean sitting in front of the box watching DVD's and such, i mean stamp collecting/model making/ that sort of ilk. My wife does sugarcraft, I like to draw and paint in oils, and have recently began to research my family tree. What's your hobby?

I try to play classical music on the keyboard. I also love listening to classical, play football, read thrillers and am almost addicted to cryptic crosswords, sudoku and killer sudoku. I also do a lot of DIY.
