I usually end up cutting and pasting the contents into Word then editing it, but this is very time consuming especially if the contents is full of blasted cells (there must be a simpler way). Some web pages have a printer friendly version which is easier to edit as well as being easier to print.
Here's a technique that i use if a web page is proving difficult to print. Let's say i just want to print a small section, but when i do a print preview it is just off the page. Position the part you want so that it is clearly visible on the screen, then press "PrtScn" (usually next to Scroll Lock). Open up "Paint" (which is under accessories in Windows start menu) then paste onto the blank project. Use the cropping tool to draw a box around the section that you want to print, then cut it to the clipboard. Open up a new blank project, past the image from the clipboard into there then print it. Sounds a bit long winded, but only in fact takes about a minute to do.
