Rabbits/medication

Can anyone tell me how to get a rabbit to swallow? Iam needing to syringe medication and he is very good at taking the syringe in the side of his mouth but not taking the meds/swallowing.
If anyone has any tips please.Thanks

I have to give my cat an inhaler twice a day - not an easy task!
