ODDBODS - NICELY PAIRED OFF

This is my first Oddbods quiz and to be quite honest I don't understand Round 2 at all! Can someone explain how the letters and the numbers in brackets afterwards are worked out? What do the numbers represent?

I haven't got this quiz yet, but if you can give an example of one or two of the questions I might be able to explain.

part two is tha names of the characters in the film

the numbers equate to amounts in each name

eg (466/67) read as (4,4,6/6,7) It threw me at first

I've had the quiz for a while but just started it tonight and as I've never done one of these before I'm just a bit confused by round 2. The rest is all ok but when the numbers say (466/67) I have no idea what they refer to.

I will do what I can and await Oddbody's explanation.

eg hiillsmtw(45) will smith

Really sorry I have only just picked up the message about this. I think the explanations already been given that you were after. Oddbods quizzes are not difficult but they do take a bit of fathoming if you are new to them. I'm glad you got it sorted.

I completed this quiz without understanding what the numbers were about in part 2, so I expect I've got a lot wrong. Can I take this opportunity to ask that when the next competition is set, more explanation is put on the quiz sheet about what the letters and numbers stand for, with a worked example at the top of each section. It won't spoil the quiz, but clearly a lot of people like myself were confused by the numbers, and this would ensure that the same confusion doesn't happen in the next quiz. It must take an awful long time to compose a quiz like this, and I am sure a lot more people would enter if these small adjustments were made.Thank you.

Haha the numbers were done like that deliberately to make people think and if i'd put an explanation it would have defeated the object. Oddbods have the answers there on the sheet but part of the quiz is solving the puzzles that lead to them. Sorry.
