Narrative and use of recurring images in Cormac McCarthy's The Road
4 Answers
Hi,
Does anyone know what the narrative is for the majority of the book, I know part of it is the man (interior monologue) but what is the rest?
Also, he uses recurring bleak images which I am told by my lecturer is leit motiff. How could I embed that in a sentence?
TIA

As you are presumably studing English I'll leave you to write your own sentence.
Hope that helps
