what period in time would you have liked to be in, not which decade as in the 60s, been done, but from the beginning of time
I would like to have been one of those beautiful gowned women who sat and did their needlework by the fire like the sisters in Little Women and to be able to go to Balls and dance to those wonderful waltzes

I suspect there is a lesson there for younger AB'ers If only is probably one of the saddest phrases in the english language.... Sometimes we only get confidence to do things when we are old enough to realise no one really cares what we do or if they do they will forget soon enough.

I have a really beautiful sister who had loads of opportunities and didn't make the most of them either... She always said if I'd had her looks and my personality I probably would've been splashed all over the papers by the age of 18 or caused a diplomatic incident

I tried my best regardless
