i HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT PINEAPPLE REACTS WITH SOME PRESCRIPTIO N DRUGS. MY HUSBAND TAKES MANY TYPES AFTER A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK. I ALSO TAKE MEDICATION. CAN ANYONE ADVISE US/?

Not really, I was told pineapple is acidic, which doesn't help with the inflamation.

Well lets know what will happen if we eat either pineapple or grapefruit with these drugs...
ie: will we be ill? will we shrink?, will we fly?, WHAT?

If you take grapefruit with any of the above drugs mentioned jumisa, they will not work as they should, OBVIOUSLY!!!!! (and I meant to shout)

Why are you discussing grapefruit? The question is about pineapple and mrsmurphy has made it very clear she knows about grapefruit but needs to know about pineapple.

As mentioned by askyourgran above, I was about to mention that Cranberry Juice is also not allowed by Warfarin takers, and dont forget `Lockets` contain Grapefruit so they are also `not allowed`. I`ve been on Warfarin since 1973 and used to have Grapefruit and Cranberry Juice regulary
