Things to talk about!

Ok I admit it, I am useless when it comes to the opposite sex (men in my case). I've been single for so long I've forgotten how to talk to men! I went out on Saturday night with the girls and had a fair few drinks and this guy started to talk to me which was fine; I made him talk about himself for the majority! The thing is where I'd had a few I can't remember half the things he told me! We swapped numbers and he has just text me but I don't know how to continue the conversation as I'd feel bad asking him stuff that he probably already told me on Saturday. I remember him being a sporty type which makes me feel even worse as I don't have any hobbies or do anything other than work and go to the pub at weekends. That makes me sound like a great catch doesn't it?
Anyway, I know this is a bit long winded and probably makes no sense at all but can anyone offer me any advice or words of wisdom??
Thanks!

If he has already texted you HE is interested and you dont have to do much more than say hi in response. He is chasing you!

Thanks poodicat :-)
We had a bit of a text conversation last night so we'll see what happens...
A little honesty works wonders.

If something comes up in coversation that is a reference to the evening you met, just laugh it off with "I've been to sleep since then ..." or, "I was a bit tired and emotional that night, so my memory is a bit hazy ..."

If he likes you, he won't mind, if indeed he rememebrs anything from the conversation.

Relax, be yourself, and don't start doing yourself down before you;ve even been on a date with the guy!
sound advice from andy

i agree be yourself and just go with the flow dont try to hard
as previously mentioned he has clearly liked what he saw/heard of you or would not have been in contact. He maybe can't fully remember all of the conversations from Saturday night so won't matter that you may be needing him to repeat info - Enjoy!
if you cant remember because of the drink then I'm sure he would have noticed how drunk you were. Just say you were a bit worse for where and sorry if you ask him same things again
